Oh I was so excited when the mail man came today!!! He brought me this large box full of all kinds of wonderful goodies!!!
I joined the Humble Heart swap that Amy from Bumble Bee Lane hosted. My partner was Robin from The Primitive Hutch. I was really concerned at first because Robin and I make some of the same kinds of things. But Robin sews and makes the most amazing stitched creations as well.I sew to get by, but I never use a pattern. I guess the same as my other creations.lol.Well I did manage to stitch her a little heart.
She sent me so many amazing things. Look at all of the wonderful goodies that were in that box.
She sent this adorable “Liberty” doll. It has a Nice little apron with Liberty on it, a red starred dress and cutest little grandmother face. There were also some strawberries, and a wonderful pin keep pillow tuck. I have wanted one of those for the longest time. It is so nice! It may be my favorite, although I don’t think I can choose! Everything was so wonderful!!!
And then there’s more~
The box was so full of pretty wrapped packages with valentine tissue and beautiful ribbons.
She included this Valentine stitchery~ so nice! It has a little skeleton key and the date 1836. She does amazing work!!
Also in the box was this Primitive Book Light Holder and grubby candle(I have wanted one of those for the longest time, it is like she has known me for a long time), a sweet card….
and speaking of sweets~ yummy caramel chocolates(they didn’t last long, they are so good) ! Also included~ Valentine tissues, basket and vines note pad, and the best candle ever!!!!
Are you familiar with McCall's Candles??? They have one of the best scented candles ever!!! It is called Country Store. It comes in the cutest jar, just like a canning jar. They also sell it at Christmas with a different label. At Christmas it is labeled Christmas Jingle.
I love it! Can you smell it??? mmmmmm
And there is even more~
an awesome silver heart, I believe it is mercury glass, so beautiful. I think I know just where I will put that. And last but not least two plaid napkins one in blue and one in red.
Such a lot of love packed into that box. The time and effort she put into picking out just the right things was so thoughtful! Thank you so much Robin for all of the wonderful creations. Everything was perfect! I am so blessed to have gotten to know you better !
Now I need to get busy and find homes for all of those wonderful goodies. I will have more pics later of where I put them all.
Blessings~Sara
