I am in one of those modes where I am busy and have lots going on, but I have nothing to say…..just a little more family news~

First comes love, then comes Marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage!

We received a call from our 2 grandchildren last week with this message~ “Moms going to have a baby”!!!!! This adorable family of four will become a family of 5 soon.

We will soon have 5 grandchildren. Life is good!

 

Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are children born in one’s youth.
Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them.

Psalm 127:3-5

Prayers for them please as they travel home Tuesday from Chula Vista~ San Diego area all the way to the northern tip of California.(10-12 hours) They have been visiting his grandparents and are headed back home in the am. They had a mini vacation ~here is a pic of  four generations on the left.

They are truly blessed.

Fresh starts and Repurposing the Christmas Tree

 

Clearing out Christmas and making a fresh start~

The tree is out and the mess cleaned up (UGH). I think we will find the spills til next Christmas.

We have repurposed the tree into the back yard for the birds and also for a little extending of the Christmas lights.

Now this is the view from my back door in the evening.

Fresh starts with a yummy parfait with homemade granola that our daughter made for us.
