Just living life…….

Busy times……We have been busy with the family, grandchildren, and creating a few new items.

One of our daughters and her husband are in the process of buying a house. It is a new house and still needs landscaping and a few final touches. I have had the pleasure of having the grands here while they go over and make decisions and figure out the details. They are so much fun, but we just aren't as young as we used to be. lol Playing in the yard, watering the plants, reading stories, snacks. I don’t know how I did it with four children and ailing parents to care for. I think I need to check out Geritol. hhhmmmmm!!

Well with all of that playing we decided the grands needed somewhere outside to play. Below is a pic of what we have started. A little playhouse in the corner of the yard, behind the trees.

 

Our other daughter and her husband have an anniversary this week. She is also expecting her second child and this week they were able to go get an ultrasound.

(That meant more time with little Sophia). They brought the video and shared it with me. The technology is amazing. What they can do and see.

She has a different style decorating style than I do, but I have been trying to create a few things for her home that she would like. This is what I have come up with so far. Hope she likes them.

I also wanted to ask for prayer for my brother Matthew.He is going in for surgery on Friday and will be out of work for quite a while. He just celebrated 29 years in the Army last week. He was in Kuwait when the missiles came in at the beginning of the Iraq war.  Thank you Matt for all you do for this country. This is he and his wife Cindy at the ball in December.
