A Little Green~

Celebrating a little green this weekend and thinking of my Grandpa Fagan and my Mother, where I get these wonderful Irish roots. Grandpa’s parents and grandparents came to this wonderful country from Ireland. Grandpa was always sharing his love of this country with me. He is the one that taught me to respect this country and the flag and to hold my hand over my heart whenever I saw the American Flag pass by. He was so proud to have fought for this country and to be a part of it.

~An Old Irish Blessing~
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

  4. I'm late with my St. Patties day greeting...you certainly do have an Irish maiden name don't you. I do too...it was Lawrence! Grandma was a Minnick/Rook so it runs through deep and she had bright red hair till the day she passed.
    Blessings,
    Karen
