Usually the middle of August in New England summer is winding down and the weather is transforming gently into fall. The dog days of summer are past. The nights get cooler, the sun sets take on a new look, the gardens have produced most of their harvest and they start to prepare themselves for winter.
That sounds so nice.
Not the case here in California. The temps have been around 108 for the past few days. I am so longing for the cooler weather, but that is not to be. So this weekend, I turned up the AC, put on Christmas music and did a little Christmas creating.
And now I am back to fall creating~

Thank you all for your kinds thoughts and prayers. I have had a few tests that all came back negative, except for a skin condition. I still have a few more Dr appointments this week. Maybe this is all just old lady stuff! UGH! One day at a time, that is all we can do.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews 12:1
Fantastic news.

Gosh I enjoyed this post (well I enjoy all your posts) but this one speaks to my heart. I too love Fall - our heat cranked up again today and it's 91 right now. Hate it...hate summer. Harsh words aren't they but I do dislike summer very much.
ReplyDeleteYour creations are always so fun to look at. Always such great eye candy here.
Our little grandson goes to kindergarten this year.
