Is everyone ready for Christmas???

c-blok

Are you ready for Christmas??? I sure am not!! I haven’t even finished decorating yet. There is so much going on this time of year. Christmas parties, Church programs, family gatherings. So many things on the to do list…..is yours as long as mine??

decorating, baking, shopping ,wrapping,…..and I still have orders coming in and things to finish from Santa’s workshop for the grandchildren. (To my daughters~ if you are reading this blog and want to be surprised for your children for Christmas…..then read no more!! lol)

I do have my Christmas tree up, and a small tree, and a few things in place, but today will be the day to finish decorating. I will have more photos of my decorated home next time.

Well back to work. I hope you all are “wrapping things up” and going to be able to take a few minutes to enjoy a nice cup of hot cocoa, christmas mugs

watch your favorite Christmas movie……or to just sit back, kick up your feet and listen to your favorite Christmas music. It will be gone before you know it. I will leave you with one of my favorite Christmas songs by Steven Curtis Chapman….(don’t forget to go to the bottom of this page and turn off the music first.)

Christmas Blessings

  3. I'n not ready yet either, I still have a few more spots to place some new Christmas decor I bought yesterday... yes, I really needed MORE snowmen :) and I still have to get some cookie baking done as well.
Merry Christmas! and BTW, I love the Gingerbread men box. Honestly, I'm just now "getting into" gingerbread people. I'm a big "Santa & Snowmen" type of gal.

  6. Hi Sara,

I think there are a lot of us feeling the pressure and wanting to slow down. I for one HAD TO SLOW DOWN this year and today I'm happy I did.

I decorated Two weeks later than normal but after the initial frustration went away I decided that it was okay to be a bit late and I'm taking the gift buying at a slow pace...not pushing myself till I'm dead tired when i get home.

I never saw that Peppermint Chocolate Creamer...guess I'll have to look for it!

Next Christmas let's all make a pack to start our decorating the first of December and do it in bits and pieces and finish up by the middle of December so we have two weeks to sit back and enjoy it...then see who sticks to that pack! lol

i just have a few stocking stuffers to buy and then it's all done....so this week will be easy.

    Blessings, Merry Christmas,
    Karen
