Chicken soup for the body and soul……

Feeling kind of under the weather…….

…..can’t breathe, or smell anything, hard to sleep laying down. Well you know, you have all had it.

Everyone has there own favorite chicken soup recipe. I have found through the years that it doesn’t have to be complicated, just make you feel better. Two of the most important ingredients in mine are Mrs Dash seasoning and garlic. They seem to clear out the sinuses. It usually works great, but not this time. I t just isn’t doing it. I am going to have to try something else.I am open to any suggestions for clearing the sinuses. I have to breathe through my mouth, so uncomfortable.lol Ok, I am done complaining. Off to try to accomplish something while I feel up to it.

Thank you all for your kind words on my last post. The show was ok. We passed out tons of business cards and got our name out there.

Hope everyone is staying well and able to enjoy this Holy week. Next post will be on my “Resurrection Eggs”. Blessings ~Sara

  1. Neti Pot! My sister SWEARS by them to clean out her sinus's. And my sister is a BIG baby! I've heard a lot of other patients say that they are wonderful too!

  3. Oh, sorry you've got what I'm just getting over! No fun at all. Warm salty water and H.P. mixtures always soothes my ailments.
    Feel better soon!

  4. Sorry your not feeling well Sara. I took Mucinex when I had it~ it really broke up and drained the sinus~ but everyone is different, so I don't know how it would do for ya.
    Hope you feel better soon!
    Have a Happy Easter,

  7. Well that's not good at all. We take Mucinex around here also. Not to be gross, but it really opens the floodgates and pushes that stuff out of your system, quicker than anything we've ever used in the past. Chicken noodle soup is always a good thing too (but when is it not a good thing? hehe) and much rest.

Your child's play kitchen is so stinking adorable!! It makes me wish my girl was little again. But I'm not ready to have grandbabies around here yet... hopefully you're still making them when that time comes, lol.

Lots of rest girl, take it EASY~

  8. Oh sweetie - sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I have horrid sinus issues, and every cold has a way of morphing into a sinus infection. I cannot believe I was fortunate enough to not have gotten sick yet this season. Any who....I've had several surgeries and about the only things that work for me are (1) Saline rinses (Netti pot - or, I just use the version that has the plastic squeeze bottle....sounds gross and I was very unwilling to try it at first, but had to after my last surgery, and now I swear by it; (2) Mucinex; and (3) a good bowl of Zuppa Tuscana (I make my own and use a bit spicier sausage than does Olive Garden, but OG's is pretty good too - just get a to-go bowl....) And, yes, I do all three.... Hope you get to feeling better soon - never fun to be sick, even worse when a holiday is coming up..... Get Better Hugs ~ Robin

  9. Yes, Robin is right, a Netti pot is great and something spicy to eat.
