Thank you all for your prayers and concern for my little granddaughter Layla. She was sitting up and having broth and crackers when we left the hospital last night. She was still on the IV and will be evaluated today. It took 3 tries to put the IV in because she was so dehydrated. We had her little brother Isaiah with us for the day and we brought him in to see her. He was concerned about his big sister and thought we should bring her some toys. He thought that she would like the little Velvet doll that she plays with at Grandma and Grandpa's house. He is so thoughtful.

On with some happier times~
Over the weekend we held a baby shower at our church for one of our members. I was asked to do the decorating. At first we weren’t sure of the sex of the baby so we were going with the green and yellow theme and by the week before we found out that it was a girl.
So I added a little pink to all of the other colors and themes that I had already panned on. The happy couple had already picked the name, so that gave us a little more to work with as well.

We also celebrated the anniversary of our oldest daughter. We took the two girls for the evening so that they could get away for a little while. Boy how time flies! It seems like it was just yesterday that we were making plans and pulling all of the details together for their wedding!
The beautiful cake that she designed and my sister made for her.
