Fall has arrived!
I love Fall! My favorite time of year. How about you?
It is such a long season for enjoying so many wonderful delights for the senses. All of the colors, the different spices, the harvest, all of the natural elements, pumpkins, bittersweet, scarecrows, pumpkin bread, Chai Tea, pumpkin coffee, eggnog coffee....Oh I could go on.
Here in California the weather has been so warm (in the high 90’s) it is hard to get in the fall mode. Although the last few days have been cooler and we even had rain here today. It hasn’t rained since maybe last May.We usually miss fall, the leaves turn color around December and it stays warm til February. I do fake it a little~ I light a spicy candle and boil some potpourri with the AC on. It helps a little. This year may be different, we may actually have a nice fall. It is exciting to me, as I am used to fall back in New England and miss all of the colors and everything else that says fall.
