New Years Eve~

What does everyone have planned for New Years Eve? We are still up in the air with decisions. We have been so wiped out we just want to stay home and do nothing. We may go to our sons home and have a fire. We have started a tradition each year of burning our Christmas tree after Christmas. the weather has been nice enough the last few years, but this year it is so cold and we have even had snow twice already.  We will be making some lasagna and other goodies. I think our snacks will include some raw veggies, time to get back on track with our eating habits. One thing is for sure. This New Years Eve will definitely be different!.  No Dick Clark this year, so sad!

Whatever your plans, I hope you will all be truly blessed and reflect on your past year of blessings that have been bestowed upon you. We tend to look back and think of the negative, but try looking back and being thankful of all that you do have in life.

May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed. Psalm 20:4

  1. Morning Sara, oh that sounds like a great time....I am just staying in, no plans, cold here......Wishing you and yours a Healthy and Happy New Year, Hugs Francine.

  2. Thank you, Sara!
I feel like you... Chill and eat better. I go back to school on Wednesday, so I just want to savor it. God is good! Thank you for the reminder to remember blessings instead of just the hard times. The hard do come to mind more easily sometimes, don't they?

It's cold here too. I like the tradition of burning the Christmas tree (mine is fake though)- it must smell wonderful!

Tonight my brother and sil are coming over. Veggies are on the top of the snack list... If I see another cookie... bleck.

Blessings to you, dear friend! Hugs and love,

  3. Good morning Sara - Stopping by to wish you a very blessed and Happy New Year!

  4. We went to an auction this evening but now back to spend the evening at home. Happy New Year! Janice

  5. Happy new Year Sara to you and your family!
    Be blessed,

  6. If nothing else, we can all look back & be thankful that we made it through any difficulties of the past year : ) I wish you & your family a very Happy New Year!
